Participation in E-Data Project Working Group Meeting

On 21 July 2016, experts of the Institute for Budgetary and Socio-Economic Research (IBSER) took part in an open meeting of the E-Data Project. As usual, the event was held at the Ministry of Finance.
This time, the Working Group members discussed the following topics: Project status and prospects; open budget concept; unified office and electronic contracts, and E-Investigation competition, as well as other issues.
The E-Data Project Leader, Oleksandr Shchelokov expressed appreciation for a weighty contribution made by IBSER experts to the process of training the budget process participants in how to use the E-Data Web-portal of public spending. In particular, the numbers of E-Data website users have grown significantly after the trainings were delivered, which, in turn, has contributed to an improved openness and transparency of the process of public spending.
