On 9 December, the USAID Municipal Finance Strengthening Initiative (MFSI-II) Roll-out Project took part in the Opportunities for Development of Communities information fair. The event was held at the Kyiv City State Administration as part of the annual conference of the Association of Ukrainian Cities devoted to celebrating the Local Self-Government Day in Ukraine. The event was intended to disseminate information about the international aid projects active in Ukraine, as well as about the opportunities of obtaining resources for development of local communities and regions. About 200 city, village, and settlement majors took part in the fair.
The MFSI-II Project presented its groundwork and materials to the leaders of Ukrainian local communities. Such information campaign will facilitate continued collaboration with Ukrainian cities, greater interest of the public to Project activities, and engagement of new partners in cooperation.
