Consultations for communities to protect the interests of children and youth continue

A series of consultations for the communities participating in the project “Improving Budgeting for Children in Communities”, implemented by the Institute for Budgetary and Socio-Economic Research with the support of the UN Children's Fund UNICEF, continues.
On August 3, the IBSER expert team held a meeting with specialists/officials of the Korosten City Council on changes to the Program “Youth of the Korosten City Territorial Community” for 2021-2025. During the consultation, they provided information on the feasibility and necessity of making changes to the local target program and reached an agreement that the representatives of the Youth and Sports Department of the Korosten City Council would consider making such changes in the near future in accordance with the proposals of IBSER, and the experts would provide advisory assistance at all stages of this process.
On August 14, Serhii Losiev, IBSER expert on education and local finance management, Olha Terentyeva, healthcare expert, and Tetyana Kovalchuk, project manager, provided recommendations and proposals on protecting the interests of children, youth and families with children to the officials of Andrushivka City Council to be taken into account in the draft Strategy for the Development of the City Territorial Community.
As a result of the consultations, it was agreed that the Andrushivka City Territorial Community would include expert suggestions and recommendations for addressing the needs of children and youth in the final version of the Development Strategy.
