The Service for Children and Family Affairs of the Irpin City Council incorporated recommendations from the Institute for Budget and Socio-Economic Research during the preparation of the Comprehensive Programme for Social and Legal Protection of Children and Family Support “Every Child Has a Family” for 2026–2028.
On November 27, the Irpin City Council approved the Programme.
As part of the cooperation, IBSER experts provided professional consultations and analytical recommendations aimed at structuring the Programme’s objectives, improving performance indicators, and integrating the principles of gender equality and accessibility.
In an official letter received from the Irpin municipality, it was noted that the expert support contributed to improving the quality of the Programme and ensuring its compliance with modern child rights protection standards and best practices in local governance.
The Institute for Budgetary and Socio-Economic Research continues to cooperate with municipalities to strengthen local capacities for developing effective, child- and family-oriented policies.
The project “Strengthening Child-Sensitive Budgeting at the Subnational Level” is implemented with the support of UNICEF in Ukraine.
