On 24 January, experts of the MFSI-II Project took part in a Performance Dialogue roundtable conducted by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the E-Data Project.
The main topics of the roundtable included transparency of public finance in Ukraine and strategies of E-Data Project as part of reform of the Public Finance Management system. Invited to participate in the event were representatives of the public sector, international financial institutions, and IT experts.
The First Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Oksana Markarova has brought attention of the attendees to the results of E-Data Project activities, noting that the Project has achieved significant success in assuring transparency in use of public funds. At the same time, further development of the Web-portal and its content support would require joint efforts on part of not only the Project team, but also its partner organizations.
In the course of discussions, positive marks were also given to the work conducted by experts of the MFSI-II Project in training the budget specialists in how to use the E-Data Web-portal.
