As part of the USAID “Democratic Governance in Eastern Ukraine” (DG East) project, on September 14, 2021, experts from the Institute for Budgetary and Socio-Economic Research (IBSER) conducted an online seminar for employees of the Kherson City Council on the topic “How to Effectively Plan Time and Space for Work.”
The seminar aimed to:
● Introduce participants to the key factors influencing the organization of work within the new Multicenter for Service Provision in Kherson;
● Explain the main drivers of effective workplace organization and how these affect the quality of public service delivery;
● Present approaches to proper space planning, including functional zoning, specialized areas, and the separation of back-office and front-office operations.
The session also covered basic architectural and construction principles that improve customer flow management and enhance overall client satisfaction with service delivery.
This activity is part of broader efforts to strengthen local governance and improve public service infrastructure in Ukraine through capacity-building and modernization support.
