Preliminary discussion of the results of the budget analysis

On June 25-26, the expert team of the Institute for Budgetary and Socio-Economic Research held working meetings with specialists of the Novorozdilska Hromada in Lviv region, during which they presented the preliminary results of the analysis of the financing system in terms of taking into account the needs of children and youth in the municipality.
During the discussions, which took place within the framework of the project “Improving Budgeting for Children in Municipalities”, implemented by IBSER with the support of the UN Children's Fund UNICEF, the main attention was paid to the strategic and program documents of the municipality with a focus on how their tasks and goals are aimed at meeting the needs of children and youth.
In a working format, they discussed funding for early childhood development services in the municipality, educational services and health care in the context of taking into account the needs of children and youth, as well as social protection, youth policy, and expenditures on access to clean water and hygiene.
In the future, municipality managers will receive expert advice on the issues that arose during the presentation, and together with the IBSER team will draw up a plan for technical support for 2025-2026, which will be provided under the project.
