The team of the Institute for Budgetary and Socio-Economic Research received a letter of gratitude on behalf of the Mayor of Korosten Volodymyr Moskalenko.
In particular, the letter states that during the presentation of the report on the results of the analysis of the financing system of the Korosten city territorial community, taking into account the needs of children and youth, which took place on May 14, it was useful for the community to hear a professional external assessment of the situation in the planning and financing system, as well as to bring the discussion to a strategic level.
“Based on the results of the analysis and discussions during the event, representatives of specialized departments identified priority and relevant topics for technical support in each of the areas. These include: amending strategic and program documents to include gender-sensitive indicative and performance indicators; implementing gender-responsive budgeting; using a unified statistical database in the work of community structural units; and improving the system of planning and implementation of the community budget. We are sincerely grateful to the IBSER specialists for the analysis and look forward to further constructive cooperation and technical support for the development of the community and improvement of the quality of life of children, youth and families with children,” the letter says.
The experts of the project “Improving Budgeting for Children in Communities”, implemented by the Institute for Budgetary and Socio-Economic Research with the support of the UN Children's Fund UNICEF, will provide technical support to the Korosten community, which will help improve the quality of services for children and youth.
