Meeting of Public Council at the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services
A regular meeting of the Public Council at the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services took place at Ministry offices on 17 June 2010. The Institute of Budget, which is a member of the Council, was represented at the meeting by Vyacheslav Zubenko, IBSER’s deputy director general.
The meeting was co-chaired by Oleksandr Mazurchak, first deputy minister of housing and communal services, co-chairman of the Public Council at the Ministry, and Volodymyr Kupriy, executive director of Counterpart Creative Center, co-chairman of the Public Council at the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services.
The following key issues were discussed at the meeting:
- vectors of reform in the housing and communal services sector: status and prospects;
- establishment of an effective housing owner: areas of cooperation between the Ministry and the public;
- regarding the proposal of the Public Council at the Ministry of Environmental Protection to hold a joint meeting.
