Meeting of Public Board of VR Committee on Tax and Customs Policy
On Monday, 13 September 2010, a meeting of the Public Board of the VR Committee on Tax and Customs Policy was held. The meeting was convened to set up topical working groups for discussion of the draft Tax Code.
The Board meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Tetiana Yefimenko.
It was agreed that the Ministry of Finance would provide the members of the working groups with the latest version of the draft tax Code for commenting (as of now, the official version of the draft Tax Code is still not published). The consolidated proposals would be passed to the Ministry of Finance for their incorporation into the final text of the Bill.
IBSER, within the Municipal Finance Strengthening Initiative (MFSI) Project implementation, is represented in the groups on Local Taxes and Fees (with real estate tax as a part of the system of local taxation) and Simplified Taxation System.
