Joint Meeting of NAB and Interdepartmental Working Group
A joint meeting of the National Advisory Board on public finance management and the Interdepartmental Working Group under the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine
The event, organized by IBSER with the Ministry of Finance, was held as part of the project implementation by the Institute of Budget
The event was intended to coordinate the activities being carried out to implement progressive budgeting techniques, in particular, Performance Program Budgeting (PPB).
In the course of the meeting, the participants discussed draft joint orders by the Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, and Ministry of Family, Youth, and Sports for approving standard lists of budget programs and their performance indicators for local budgets in the respective departments.
Special focus was made on discussing the draft code of the program classification of expenditures and crediting for local budgets developed by IBSER experts with the ministries mentioned above.
The participants of the joint meeting of NAB and Interdepartmental Working Group included representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Ministry of Education and Science, the State Treasury of Ukraine, Principal Finance Directorate of the Kyiv City State Administration, and Association of Ukrainian Financial Officers.
