Cooperation of Donors in the Area of Finance and Regional Development
Experts of the MFSI/IBSER project took part in the first meeting of Topical Subgroup/Section 2: Public Finance Management, Development of Financial Markets, Pension Reform, Administrative-Territorial Reform and Regional Development. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine with cooperation of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction and support of SIDA on 9 December 2010.
The meeting’s objective is coordinating the efforts of donor institutions and technical assistance projects in the financial sector and sector of regional development.
The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine presented at the meeting the projects they support in the area of advisory assistance to the Government of Ukraine and Ministry of Finance in particular on the issues of budget process reform, public debt management, and budget forecasting.
