Working Group Meeting at Ukrainian President’s Administration

    IBSER General Director Iryna Shcherbyna took part in a meeting of the Working Group of the Committee of Economic Reforms in the Healthcare Reform section. The meeting took place at the Presidential Administration offices on 21 January 2011 and was chaired by Iryna Akimova, the first deputy head of the Presidential Administration.

    The participants discussed the Healthcare reform phases and new approaches toward financing healthcare institutions in the pilot regions in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Vinnytsya Oblasts.

    IBSER was invited to take an active part in the collaborative effort to develop the legislative draft, taking into account MFSI Project's significant expertise in realising pilot PPB projects at the local level. PPB is identified as one of the key components in implementing reforms in the healthcare system.
