Meeting of the Working Group on Stabilizing the State Budget of
During the meeting the Working Group members discussed the progress achieved in implementing the state budget stabilization schedule as of January - April 2011. It was noted that all elements of the program are on schedule.

In particular, as of 4 May 2011, two events had been implemented completely, which resulted in the adoption of the following instruments of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:
1) Resolution No. 255, “On the Approval of the Procedure for Decreasing Budgetary Appropriations to Spending Units”, dated 17 March 2011, within the framework of the Strengthening of Control over Budgetary Funds Proper and Effective Use;
2) Resolution No. 37, “On Amendments to the Procedure for Preparing, Considering, Approving and the Fundamental Requirements for the Execution of Budget-Funded Institutions’ Cost Estimates”, dated 24 January 2011, within the framework of Amendments to Regulations Concerned with Performance-Program Budgeting.
In the context of the tasks set, Cabinet of Ministers decrees No. 223 “On the Optimization of the State Target-Oriented Programs”, dated 23 March 2011, and No. 292 “On the Issues of Budget Programs Number Optimization”, dated 6 April, 2011, were approved.
