On 28 July 2011, Kyiv City State Administration hosted a discussion devoted to the Kyiv City Development Strategy up to the year 2025, in particular, to the City’s economic, investment, and budgetary and financial components. The MFSI Project joined in the discussion surrounding this document.
The City’s policy with regard to attracting investments was set at the meeting. Emphasis was also made on the need to support legislative changes in the budget area with the aim of achieving a greater flexibility and a better balance of the Kyiv budget.
IBSER took an active part in the debates and proposed the inclusion of an energy-saving component into the Draft Kyiv Development Strategy, an element that is currently lacking in the document despite it being extremely relevant for the city.
The finalization of the Draft Strategy, with participation of the public, is currently underway.
