The Eighth Financial and Economic Forum

   The Eighth Financial and Economic Forum on the topic Social and Economic Preconditions for Local Development in 2012-2014 was held on 14 October, 2011under the Municipal Finance Strengthening Initiative (MFSI) Project, which is imple with support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID),
   The Forum will mainly focus on discussing the tasks and prospects of the interbudgetary relations reform, as well as the ways of strengthening the financial capacity of local governments both in the short- and medium-term.
   The Forum participants were representatives of Government ministries and departments, relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, representatives of the academic and international expert communities, and the non-governmental sector.
