With Support from Experts of the MFSI-II Project, Cities Continue Implementing Projects Designed to Reduce Their Energy Consumption
To this end, experts of the MFSI-II Project assist the city of Pavlohrad in preparing the resolutions of the City Council needed for financing the energy-saving project “Partial thermal modernization of children’s preschool institutions in the city of Pavlohrad.”
The Pavlohrad City Council issued a resolution “On attracting a credit for financing an investment project "Partial thermal modernization of children’s preschool institutions in the city of Pavlohrad in 2012-2017" and a resolution "On amending the City Council resolution of 29 December 2011, No. 455-18/VI "On approving the city budget for the Year 2012" (with revisions) to increase the development budget deficit for the investment project "Partial thermal modernization of children’s preschool institutions in the city of Pavlohrad in 2012-2017."
At present, the city is developing a business plan for the project and, with participation of MFSI-II experts, is preparing documents to apply to the Ministry of Finance to obtain latter’s agreement to city borrowing.
Implementation of the project "Partial thermal modernization of children’s preschool institutions in the city of Pavlohrad" would allow the city to achieve environmental and economic benefits by cutting CO2 emissions by 279.4 tons per year.
