A Roundtable Meeting in Stryi, Lviv Oblast
A roundtable on the topic of “City Budget Formation Based on the Performance Program Budgeting Method and Results of Its Implementation” was held with support from the Institute for Budgetary and Socio-Economic Research (IBSER) in the city of Stryi, Lviv oblast, on 27 June 2012. The meeting participants included members of the City Council, key spending units of the municipal budget, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and MFSI-II experts and media representatives.
The meeting focused on highlighting the results of implementation of City’s PPB-based budget and discussed the advantages of formulation of City's budget based on Performance Program Budgeting.
This public event has resulted in familiarizing the participants with the status of implementation of the modern methodology of efficient use of budget funds in the city of Stryi and developing the proposals, which will need to be taken into account when preparing the 2013 budget.
