A meeting of the Committee for Economic Reforms “On the Progress of Reforms in the Health Care System”
A meeting of the Committee for Economic Reforms “On the Progress of Reforms in the Health Care System” chaired by the Head of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) O.P. Popov was held at the KCSA building on 21 September 2012. The MFSI-II Project took part in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by members of the Committee for Economic Reforms, heads of district State administrations of the City of Kyiv, the Principal Directorate of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration, and heads of Kyiv city healthcare institutions.
The meeting participants discussed the real status of reforms in the Kyiv system of public health, set out the objectives to be reached in 2013, and discussed the concept of emergency medical aid reform.
One topic mentioned at the meeting was the effective results of PPB implementation in the healthcare department. In particular, it was noted that setting performance indicators has had a positive impact on the efficiency of using budget funds and has stimulated the quality of healthcare service provision.
