PPB Trainings Being Conducted
IBSER is continuing its active work aimed at implementing the Performance Program Budgeting method of planning and executing local budgets under the Municipal Finance Strengthening Initiative Roll-out (MFSI-II) Project supported by USAID.
A workshop on PPB implementation for district-level specialists in Khmelnytskyi Oblast was delivered in the city of Khmelnytskyi on 14 February 2013.
The workshop was attended by Khmelnytskyi Oblast PPB implementation coordinators and specialists from the structural units of District Finance Directorates in charge of forming the departmental indicators of their respective budgets. The workshop participants were introduced to the theoretical foundations of PPB, instructive materials and practical aspects of its application in accordance with the methodological documents approved by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
By the end of June 2013, these workshops will have been delivered in all oblast centers for specialists from each oblast that joined the experiment in 2013. This will make it possible to formulate all district budgets in Ukraine based on PPB for the first time.
