Public Presentation of PPB Implementation Results in the City of Kalush
A roundtable discussion on The Initial Results of Performance Program Budgeting Implementation in the City’s Budget Process was held in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, on 21 February 2013. This public event was attended by members of the City Council, key spending units of municipal budget, and members of the press.
The participants discussed pressing issues of PPB implementation, described the efficiency of budget spending, shared their experience of budget program formation, and pointed to the benefits of monitoring and performance evaluation.
This public discussion makes it possible to improve the transparency of municipal budget execution and inform the general public about the results of the PPB implementation experiment.
