Experts of MFSI-II Project Take Part in the Process of EITI Implementation in Ukraine

A scheduled meeting of the Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) on implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) in Ukraine was held on 5 May 2015. The MSG members approved at the meeting the Technical Specification for the Independent Administrator on preparing the National EITI Report, in whose development the MFSI-II experts also participated.
This is an important step towards implementation of EITI in Ukraine, it will promote transparency in operation of extractive industry enterprises, and create the conditions for participation of the general public in the management of natural resources.
