On April, 5th the USAID project “Municipal Finance Strengthening Initiative (MFSI-II) Roll out”, in partnership with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, started the next series of trainings for the key spending unitsof different levels on how to work with E-Data, official web portal for publishing the information on use of public funds.
The first training workshops were held in November - December 2015 for spending units of the city of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Ternopil, and Chernivtsi oblasts. Till the end of May trainings will be delivered in Khmelnytsk, Sumy, Zaporizhya, Odessa, Zhytomyr, Kyrovograd, Cherkassy, Mykolayiv and Poltava regions.
The trainees will be introduced to the functionalities of the E-Data and trained in the provision of quality information for reports, contracts, and creation of personal profiles for each government-funded institution, the so-called "offices". This teaching will assist in increasing the scope of information on E-Data, assure the correct submission of data and strengthen the transparency of public funds.
