Grant from the Westminster Foundation for Democracy to conduct a series of parliamentary trainings

The grant was implemented by the Institute for Budget and Socio-Economic Research with the support of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy as part of the Parliamentary Assistance Program, which aimed to improve the skills of the Parliament's staff in accordance with the needs of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine through a series of training seminars.

The project's objective was to develop a curriculum and conduct a series of trainings for parliamentarians and employees of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget to familiarize them with modern approaches to medium-term budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of budget programs, methods of cost analysis, and practical aspects of the program-targeted budgeting method, which was to contribute to increasing the efficiency of budget funds and openness of the budget process.
