Trainings on How to Use the E-Data Public Funds Web Portal Conducted for Spending Units in Zaporizhzhya
15 April 2016
On 11 through 13 April, the USAID Municipal Finance Strengthening Initiative (MFSI-II) Roll-out Project, with support from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, conducted five training sessions on how to use the E-Data public funds Web portal for key spending units in Zaporizhzhya.
Engaged in the trainings were the heads and specialists of the Finance Department of the Zaporizhzhya Oblast State Administration, local Finance Departments of raion State administrations, and Executive Committees of City Councils of the Zaporizhzhya oblast, as well as key spending units of the oblast and raion budgets, budgets of oblast-significant cities, and budgets of associated communities. The training events were attended by 450 persons.
The participants were familiarized with the legislative regulation for the creation and operation of the unified public funds spending Web portal, the instructions for registration of an Office at the E-Data portal, and the requirements for entering the data on openness of public spending (reports, contracts, supporting documents for contract performance).
The training participants believe there is a need of conducting similar training sessions for lower-level spending units and recipients of budget funds, which are included into their network.
