Meeting in Ostroh

     As part of the Municipal Finance Strengthening Initiative (MFSI) Project implemented with support of USAID, the Institute of Budget is providing support to Ukrainian cities in implementation of investment projects of infrastructure development, in particular, in the area of energy conservation.
     To implement the tasks of this Project component and according to the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Ostroh City Council, ZAT Rivne Communal Energy Service Company and IBSER, a working meeting of the partners was held in Ostroh, Rivne Oblast, on 25 March 2010.
     The meeting was devoted to discussing the key problems, which emerged in the course of implementation of a project of building individual boiler houses intended to supply heat to educational institutions in the city of Ostroh (the Project), in particular, with regard to defining the Project details, observance by ZAT Rivne Communal Energy Service Company of the requirements to information, which is needed for obtaining a credit for financing this Project. Based on the discussion results, the priority tasks of the parties have been identified, whose implementation will assure a timely completion of the Project.
