Inter-regional Coordinating Meeting on Implementation of Performance Program Budgeting Method
IBSER and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine have launched the next series of Performance Program Budgeting training seminars supported by USAID. On 26 October 2011 they held an inter-regional coordinating meeting at the Kyiv Oblast State Administration building on implementing PPB for planning and executing local budgets.
The event was chaired by the Deputy Director of the Department of Local Budgets and Investments at the Ministry of Finance, H.B. Markovych, and the Director of the Principal Finance Directorate of the Kyiv Oblast State Administration, L.I. Karamushko.

After completing a series of coordinating meetings in the first half of 2012, IBSER will organize trainings and consultations on PPB implementation in oblast centers for specialists of the structural units of Finance Directorates responsible for formulating the departmental parameters of their respective budgets.
The trainings and consultations will cover all budget sectors, which will enable municipalities to formulate their budgets in the PPB format in all areas of budget spending and ensure the transparent and efficient use of budget funds.
