IBSER Participates in the 6th Annual Pan-Ukrainian Accountants’ Congress
MFSI-II was invited to the 6th Annual Pan-Ukrainian Accountants’ Congress, which was held in Yalta on 6 through 10 July 2012.
The Congress was attended by about 350 participants, including representatives from the Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Social Policy; Ministry of Health; Ministry of Education and Science, Youth, and Sport; Ministry of Culture; State Tax Service, State Finance Inspectorate, State Treasury Service, and the nongovernmental sector.
The plenary meeting and subsequent discussions in groups focused on topical issues of planning and executing budgets at all levels, new approaches to the organization of internal audits, inspection and auditing activities, public procurements and other matters.
One of the most pressing issues discussed at the Congress was ways to improve the efficiency of using public funds and State property, especially in terms of budget planning and execution based on the Performance Program Budgeting method.
MFSI-II expert took an active part in discussing these issues and delivered a presentation PPB Implementation: A Way of Combining the Strategy and Tactics of Medium-Term Budgeting.
In the course of a lively discussion following the presentation, MFSI-II expert answered questions from the audience.
